The A/PI ICE Tracker is a project of Stop AAPI Hate. This notice explains what happens to your information when you visit this site (APIICETracker.org).

We don't collect personal information directly

There are no accounts, sign-ups, or forms on this website. We do not use advertising, tracking pixels, or build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share visitor information for advertising purposes. We do use Google Analytics to understand general site traffic, described below.

What our web host sees

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare automatically receives standard technical information when your browser loads a page, including your IP address, browser type, and which pages you request, and keeps it in server logs for security and reliability. We don't use this information to identify or track you. Cloudflare's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Web analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand general traffic patterns, such as how many people visit and which pages are popular. Google Analytics collects your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, and the site that referred you. We have IP anonymization turned on and have disabled ad personalization and Google Signals, so this data is not linked to your activity on other sites or used to build advertising profiles. Google's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking on all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Fonts

This site loads display fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. We don't use Google Fonts for any other purpose.

Cookies and Do Not Track

Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies on your browser to distinguish visitors and sessions. These cookies do not identify you personally, and we do not use them for advertising. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or use the opt-out tool linked above. We honor browser Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control signals by disabling analytics for that visit.
